TUESDAY 12th SEPTEMBER:
I did a lot better today than yesterday. I woke up and straight away did Lucy’s September Challenge as my workout. I am a bit behind so I did Day 2 & Day 3. I found the workout a lot of fun and forgot how much I enjoyed them. Lucy’s workouts are tough, I was nervous about doing them as I had been off for an injury but they didn’t exacerbate it. Phew! Although I felt like I could have done more, I certainly felt challenged by the end of it.
I absolutely love her format of a HIIT workout one day and a toning workout the next but this time she also has a walking workout in the mix, so I’m excited to try those! As always when it comes to the rest days she has a video with really good motivators and information. I can’t wait to watch this weeks nutrition video!
I ate the same food as yesterday, however, I ate more of it. I didn’t quite finish my salad again but I certainly tried harder to finish it. I think even though it’s a small portion that it’s just a bit to big for me and my head is like “A, you NEVER eat salads, what are you at?! I’m not letting you finish this!”. I’ll do a blog post on how I’m putting myself in the right mindset to lose weight and why I think it’s important.
Just like Monday I was eyeing up the sugar packed protein bar instead of the banana. I told myself I can have the protein bar but I have to eat the banana first. I didn’t deny myself the sugar but at the same time once I had the banana I was full and didn’t eat the bar. SUCCESS!
Water intake? Still on par to the Sahara Dessert. I really do need to get better at this. I think it’s the fear of having to go to the toilet every ten minutes with crossed legs! I can’t really do that in work so I don’t think I’ll be able to reach my water goal until my days off and then I’ll try my best to carry it back into the days I’m working.
I managed to remember to take my supplements and then I actually took them! While I didn’t manage to take them all (there’s 14 of them!) it was still a big step in the right direction. Hopefully I’ll be reporting tomorrow that I did take every last one!
So while I’m still not meeting all my goals yet, I’ve made a huge improvement in 24 hours! That’s really all I can ask for right now!
