Sunday 17th September
I cannot believe I’ve been doing this for a week! We’re already halfway through the challenge, which is making my goal of turning it into 30 days look very good!
I was exceptionally better today than yesterday. I met all my targets but I came in just under 2L of water today, so I’m sitting here trying to drink it all before I fall asleep! (It’s nearly 2am now and I have work tomorrow!)
Since I was a bit ill yesterday and had to take a rest day, I felt guilty for not having done a workout. I know I shouldn’t really feel guilty, but I do. However it made me all the more determined to do a workout tonight and give it my all! I actually went to bed last night craving a workout. Unbelievable. I started Lucy’s January’s challenge as I said in my last blog post. I’m now 100% caught up on September’s challenge and eagerly awaiting the next video!
Due to the fact I was willing to give the workout my all, I decided to push myself even further. For the first workout I did Day 1 of January’s challenge. I remember doing this HIIT video when it first came out and I wasn’t able for it at all! This time? I kicked ass, if I do say so myself. This would be the perfect time to mention that I do all the intermediate level moves when I watch the video. (The right side of the screen). I followed that workout with Day 2, of course, which was an arm toning workout. I both love and hate these videos because they actually work but my god can you feel it working! I could’ve left it there but because the arm toning workout was an isolated move, I thought why not get an extra one in when you have the time! And so I did, I did Day 3 which was another HIIT workout. This one kicked my ass. By the end of it my legs were screaming, in a good way!
As I said yesterday I have a great time chatting to you all on social media and I have done it all day today! It’s so lovely talking to like minded people. Especially when you can be going through the same thing, even at the same time, but you get to hear a different perspective. I tweeted something along the lines of this (eyelids dropping, too tired to check exactly what I said) and a blog series was born! I am going to do interview style blog posts featuring people who do Lucy’s workouts because I always harp on about them but I feel, you as a reader, would probably prefer to hear everyone’s story and everyone’s perspective. I certainly do! I’m going to start it with the topic of weight loss and then might branch into other subjects depending on how this goes. If you would like to be featured on the blog then please click here to see my tweet and reply to it! If you someone who would like to be featured then simply tag them too! If you don’t want to get published here but would still like to talk to someone who’s going through the same thing, then send me a DM!
If you can think of any questions you’d like me to ask all these lovely people then please leave them in the comments below!
This blog post is a bit short and sweet for two reasons;
- I have another blog post to write, the vegan brownies that I’ve been teasing you with!
- I am falling asleep here.I keep walking up a bit more slumped over than the last time!
Don’t forget I leave all my social media links below!
