Days 10-14 of the 14 Day Challenge are so long ago it’s become a bit of a blur really. It was nearly a month ago as I write this. You’ll all know why I disappeared for a while if you read my “Where the hell have I been?” post.
Days 10-14 we’re good. As far as I can remember! I was really getting into it and the finish line was in view. I was determined to show myself that I am capable of controlling how I feel and be the best version of myself, the healthiest version of myself.
I was meeting all my goals and targets, it was just a matter of waiting for the time to pass. Then, (excuse my french), that’s when the sh*t hit the fan! Everything was dropped and panic ensued. Things are still very much hectic at the moment, especially with the hurricane that hit today!
Everything is slowly getting back on track, or at least the new track. I’m proud to report that through it all (..she offers me protection, a lot of love and affection…no stop it!) I kept up with the workouts and the healthy eating. It may be silly to be proud of something so small, but it’s not small to me.
I would very easily get side tracked and turn everything into an excuse as to why I could eat badly or wouldn’t have time for a workout. Now I’m showing myself that I’m taking my health and my overall well-being seriously and I’m not backing down. I am 100% determined to kick ass during this weight loss journey and nothing is going to stop me.
I may have to prioritise my time better for my targets and people may think that selfish, but it’s what I need to do for my own good. I’ll only have to do it the once and it will only be for about six months anyway. In today’s world everything needs to have been done yesterday and I think it’s detrimental to be able to take time wholly for us. That’s what I’ll be doing.
I really enjoyed daily blogging throughout
all most of the 14 Day Challenge and while I won’t continue daily blogging about my weight loss and fitness, I was wondering when would you like me to post updates? Bi-weekly, monthly…,any other preference?
I hope you’re all going to continue to join me on this leg of my journey and keep me posted on how you’re doing, be it in the comments or on social media.
Don’t forget to use the hashtag #14DAYCHALLENGE #LIFEOFA so I can see how you’re finding the 14 Day Challenge.
Massive thanks to Beth for using her incredible graphic design skills for my 14 Day Challenge headers and putting up with my indecisiveness! Check out her design instagram!
